This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and guidelines for using Scam Snap responsibly. Our goal is to maintain a fair, safe, and educational community where all users can benefit from scam detection training. Violations of this policy may result in account suspension, content removal, or permanent bans.
1. Purpose of This Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ensures that Scam Snap remains a trusted platform for educational scam detection training. It protects the integrity of gameplay, leaderboards, user safety, and the broader community from abuse, cheating, and misuse.
2. Permitted Use
You may use Scam Snap for the following purposes:
- •Personal scam detection training and skill development
- •Corporate or organizational training under an active enterprise plan
- •Competing fairly on leaderboards and earning achievements
- •Sharing educational content from the App (with appropriate credit and context) for awareness purposes
- •Providing legitimate feedback, bug reports, and feature suggestions
3. Prohibited Conduct
You must not engage in any of the following activities while using Scam Snap:
Cheating & Fair Play Violations
- •Using bots, scripts, macros, or automated tools to manipulate gameplay
- •Exploiting bugs or game mechanics to artificially inflate scores
- •Using client-side hacks or modifying game code to gain unfair advantages
- •Farming achievements or XP through illegitimate means
- •Account sharing for leaderboard manipulation
Reverse Engineering & Content Theft
- •Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract App code
- •Scraping, downloading, or redistributing game scenarios and content
- •Creating unauthorized copies or derivative works of Scam Snap
- •Selling or distributing premium content without authorization
Security & Account Violations
- •Sharing or selling account credentials
- •Attempting to access other users' accounts without permission
- •Circumventing security measures or authentication systems
- •Conducting phishing or social engineering attacks
Community & Legal Violations
- •Impersonating Scam Snap staff, moderators, or other users
- •Harassment, bullying, threats, or abusive language on leaderboards
- •Posting offensive, discriminatory, or hateful content
- •Using Scam Snap to create, test, or distribute actual scams, phishing, or fraud materials
- •Violating any local, national, or international laws or regulations
- •Spam, advertising, or solicitation within the App
4. Leaderboard & Social Features
Display Name Standards
Your display name and profile must not be offensive, obscene, discriminatory, or impersonate anyone. We reserve the right to rename accounts that violate these standards without notice.
Fair Play Monitoring
Scam Snap uses automated detection and manual review to identify suspicious activity, score manipulation, and cheating. Accounts with unusual patterns will be investigated.
Enforcement Actions
If we detect unfair play, we may: reset scores, remove you from leaderboards, suspend gameplay privileges, or ban your account entirely, at our sole discretion.
5. Content Guidelines
If Scam Snap adds user-submitted content features in the future, all user-generated content must comply with these guidelines:
- •May not be illegal, fraudulent, or harmful
- •May not infringe on intellectual property or privacy rights
- •May not contain personal information about others without consent
- •Must be accurate and not misleading
6. Reporting Violations
If you encounter a violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it immediately to our abuse team:

Include details about the violation, affected account(s), and supporting evidence (screenshots, etc.).
We investigate all reports within 5 business days and take appropriate action.
7. Enforcement & Consequences
Enforcement Escalation
Violations typically result in escalating consequences based on severity and history:
Warning
First offense for minor violations (inappropriate username, low-level exploits)
Temporary Suspension (1-30 days)
Second offense or moderate violations (cheating, repeated warnings, minor hacking attempts)
Permanent Ban
Severe violations (reverse engineering, creating actual scams, repeated bans, harassment)
Severity-Based Enforcement
Serious violations may result in immediate permanent ban without warning, including but not limited to: using the App to create actual scams or phishing materials, hacking attempts, threats or harassment, or distributing malware.
8. Appeals & Dispute Resolution
If you believe your account was wrongly suspended or banned, you may appeal within 14 days of the enforcement action:

Include your username, a description of the action taken against you, and your explanation. We review appeals within 10 business days.
Appeal decisions are final. Frivolous appeals may result in extended bans.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy as needed. Material changes will be announced with 30 days notice via in-app notification or email. Continued use of Scam Snap after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
